Walnut Solar Car

Walnut Solar Car is composed of a team of motivated Walnut High School, Diamond Bar High School, and Suzanne Middle School students who have expressed avid interest in learning the mechanical and electrical aspects of an electronic car, as well as promoting alternative energy. The car will participate in the Dell-Winston Solar Car Challenge, and is in its second model, dubbed The Blue Turtle which has been in the works since 2007. This team has existed since 2004 and the first car, El Tank del Sol was ranked 2nd nationally.
